Angelo Seminara for Davines

 

Back in January of this year Davines announced that two-time British Hairdresser of the Year and former International Creative Director for Trevor Sorbie, Angelo Seminara, had joined the company as their first Artistic Director.

This Italian-born rising star is a visionary in the hair world, bringing an innovative style that exudes passion and inspiration. His unique style of approaching and treating the hair like a fabric has created quite a buzz, and has given him the opportunity to work backstage at fashion shows in Paris, New York, London and Milan. With his collaborations with fashion houses like Chanel, Hermes, Dolce & Gabbana, and Vivienne Westwood, Angelo has won well-deserved international recognition.

 

 

 

 

His first collection with Davines, Náttúra, is a magnificent masterpiece that "tells of a woman who is strong and imperturbable, essential and utterly beautiful, ethereal and timeless. The light of early summer, filtering through solar lenses, enfolds and warms her, while contrasts remain blurred."

The Aquilibrium team is thrilled to have the opportinity to attend Angelo's seminar and show in September 2011. Some of our staff will also have the opportunity to work backstage with him, assisting in hair and makeup. We look forward to sharing our experience with all of you.
