Prom Trends!

Prom season is in full swing and oodles of eagar high school grads are getting ready to look fabulous for their memorable night. This year we've been seeing a plethora of different dress options. Of the girls I've had the opportunity to beautify, their wardrobe choices were vast, ranging from bright, colourful party dresses to simple bohemian sheaths. These options make room for a variety of hair and makeup ideas that are sure to finish off the perfect prom look.

The High Ponytail

There is something sexy and chic about a high ponytail.  This style allows your face to be the focus and enhances amazing bone structure. For added drama, hair extensions can be added to give thickness and length.

Adding a little 'fun' to your do is a hot trend right now. Bows, ribbon, sparkle, feathers! Whatever your preference, incorporating some accessories in the hair can be the perfect finishing touch to your look.

 

Half Up/Half Down

This is a classic style for those wanting to keep their long locks down. Whether you prefer straight, curly or somewhere in between, this style is always a winning go-to. Channel your inner Brigitte Bardot!

 

Short Hair Friendly

Lacking length but want a sexy up-do? Try this look that will give you the illusion of longer hair. Elegant, chic and all over gorgeous!

 

MAKEUP

Smoky Eyes + Fresh Skin

Smoking out the eye is always a good choice for a sexy look. Pairing with fresh skin that isn't overly mattified and a natural lip shade is a great way to rock this makeup.

 

Bright Lips

This trendy look is playful and beautiful. Adding a pop of bright hues on the lips is a sure way to compliment a sassy party dress and get some attention. Some of my favourites are fuschia, tangerines, candy floss pink.

 

Cherry Bomb

When in doubt, cherry red lips are a winning choice. Make it bright for a retro feel, deepen it up for a vampy twist or even create a stain for a sexy hint of colour. Pairing this with neutral or slightly smoky eyes allow this to be a versatile makeup look.

Sheer Goddess

Sexy skin that glows is a must for this look. It's all about highlighting those cheekbones! Add a wash of grey on your lids and pair it with a sheer pink gloss or lipstick. A great look for those who want more subtle makeup without compromising their sexiness.
