Recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month while supporting
HEARTH PLACE CANCER SUPPORT CENTRE
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and once again Aquilibrium Salon & Spa, in Oshawa, would like to mark the occasion with PINK HAIR FOR HOPE. From September 27th through October 31st for $10 (per extension) Aquilibrium will apply a pink hair extension to all those who’d like to show their support of this important cause. All ages are welcomed and participants are not limited to one extension. All proceeds will, again, go directly to Hearth Place Cancer Support Center in Oshawa.
Established in 1997, Hearth Place is a cancer support centre where cancer patients and their families can come and share their experiences, find resources and discover new ways to care for themselves and each other. With new cancer diagnoses in this region on the rise and over 4,500 program registrations at Hearth Place this past year alone, the centre must endeavor to raise the much needed funds in order to continue to provide support services for patients and their families.
